Choosing the right size jade bangle is not difficult, you simply need to
measure your hand as shown in the picture below, then select one of the bangles listed on this site that is
the correct size for you. There are two ways to size a Chinese jade bangle depending on
whether you intend to remove the bangle or not. Please read this page carefully

If You Intend to Wear the Bangle Always |

harm and also improve your health. Chinese people have
believed this for thousands of years and even if you don't, please
try it for yourself before discounting it, you may be
surprised. To choose a bangle you will wear always
Measure the distance between the high points of the
knuckles of your pinkie and index fingers as shown in the
picture above then choose a
bangle that is the same size or 1mm larger. To put the bangle
on simply put some lotion on your hand and wrist to help ease
the bangle on.
Please Note: It may be very difficult to remove the
bangle if you choose this method, and if you gain weight it
may be impossible without breaking the bangle, which is NOT
suggested as you may seriously injure yourself doing so. |

If You Intend to Remove the Bangle |

| For some people it is not a
matter of whether you would like to wear a bangle all the time
or not, it is impossible due to your job or certain
activities. If you need to remove your bangle often this is
the best way to choose a bangle size. Simply measure
the distance between the high points of the knuckles of your
pinkie and index fingers as shown in the picture above, then choose a bangle that is 2 or 3
mm wider. I have had people tell me they wear bangles up to
5mm wider than their wrist, but I would caution against the
bangle being too large unless you know for certain this works
for you. A bangle that is too large can easily fall off your
wrist, and the results may not be good.
Please Note: Although it is possible as mentioned to
wear bangles larger than suggested, you may be very
disappointed if it falls off and breaks. Please choose a
bangle that is suitable unless you know for certain a larger
size works for you. |
